PARTICIPANT INFORMATION

WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

NOTICE: Dog-related sports and activities—including dock diving, swimming, and training—carry inherent risks of injury, illness, death, or property damage to participants, owners, handlers, spectators, and dogs. You acknowledge and accept these risks by signing this agreement and/or entering the property.

This waiver will shift risk to the undersigned participant, handler, guest, or dog owner. Spectators are also considered participants and are subject to these terms.

PARTICIPATION & PROPERTY ACCESS

Country Road Canines, LLC and Triple Play Dog Sports, including their owners, contractors, staff, and the property owner, reserve the right to deny service or remove any individual or dog for any reason, including but not limited to health, safety, behavior, or policy violations.

All individuals (participants, guests, spectators) must:

• Sign this waiver before stepping on the dock or entering the pool/training areas.

• Remain in designated areas unless authorized otherwise.

• Comply with all staff instructions.

• Avoid unauthorized access to the dock, pool, training field, kennels, or staff-only areas, as this is strictly prohibited.

Children under 15 are not allowed on the dock at any time. Children ages 15–18 must:

• Have swimming experience

• Be approved by an instructor

• Attend orientation with a parent or legal guardian

Approved minors are recognized as a Triple Play Jr. Handler.

ORIENTATION IS REQUIRED

Before using the pool, all handlers and dogs must complete our Intro to Dock Diving Orientation. This session covers:

• Safe dock/ramp use

• Emergency procedures

• Injury and damage prevention

• Dog assessments and behavior review

• What is and isn’t allowed in pool/dock areas

No person or dog is allowed in the pool area without completing orientation.

GENERAL FACILITY RULES

Waivers & Vaccinations:

• A waiver must be on file for all handlers, guests, and spectators who plan to participate in dock/pool activities.

• Required vaccinations are rabies, DHPP/DAPP, and Bordetella. We must have a copy of shot records on file for each dog entering the property.

• Puppies must be at least 4 months old and fully vaccinated

• Titers are accepted for dogs 2+ years with current results and a copy on file.

Arrival & Parking:

• Arrive no more than 10 minutes before your booked time

• It is considered a no-show if you are 15+ minutes late for your booked time. No shows are nonrefundable

• Park along the fence on the right after entering the property. Do not park past the wooden enclosure near the dock. 

• Do not block driveways or gates.

Dog Health & Safety:

• Do not bring dogs that are ill or showing signs of illness (coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, parasites)

• Dogs must be on a leash until they are on the dock and the entry gate is latched behind them, and again before exiting the dock gate.

• No retractable leashes are allowed.

• One dog and two people are allowed on the dock at a time unless instructed otherwise.

• No tossing or pushing dogs into the water

• Dogs must willingly enter the pool

• Only floating toys are permitted in the pool

• Do not feed dogs within 3 hours of swimming

• Life vests are recommended for inexperienced swimmers

• Dogs must be secured in crates or vehicles when not on the dock

Barking Policy:

• Barking is allowed for up to 5 minutes on the dock.

• Dogs can be leashed with you while waiting; dogs that bark excessively while waiting must be put inside your vehicle. There are no exceptions. 

• We are a rural property with space, but we are surrounded by livestock and other property—please be respectful of our neighbors and their animals.

Conduct:

• No alcohol, vaping, or smoking on the property

• No food or drinks on the dock or pool deck

• No running, diving, or jumping off the dock

• Dock gates must remain latched behind you

• Clean up after your dog (waste bins provided) and clean up after yourself before leaving

• Do not allow dogs to chase or approach chickens/livestock on the property

• Do not enter the training field or use any field equipment

Female Dogs in Heat: Not allowed to participate or be on the property.

Spectators & Guests:

• Must remain in designated areas and follow all staff instructions.

• Anyone stepping onto the dock or pool area must have a signed waiver.

• Spectators and guests must follow all facility rules.

• Entry is at your own risk. Unauthorized access to the dock, pool, training field, or staff-only areas is prohibited.

OUTSIDE TRAINER POLICY

Outside trainers or instructors who are not contracted or approved by Country Road Canines or Triple Play Dog Sports are not allowed to use the facility for training, lessons, or coaching sessions, whether paid or unpaid. This prohibition includes the use of the dock, pool, or training field. Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from the facility and a permanent denial of access.

MEDIA RELEASE

I grant Country Road Canines and Triple Play Dog Sports permission to photograph or video myself, my dog(s), or guests for use in marketing or promotional content without compensation. I waive my rights to inspect or approve such use.

PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & FEES

• Full payment is due at booking

• There is a $50 cleaning fee for any elimination (vomit, pee, poop, marking, etc) in the pool and on the dock

• Cancellations with at least 48+ hrs' notice are refundable.

• Cancelling less than 48 hrs, credit may be used to reschedule; no refund

• It is considered a no-show if you are 15+ minutes late for your booked time. No shows are nonrefundable.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By signing below, I confirm I’ve read, understand, and agree to the above policies, procedures, and risks. I agree to hold Country Road Canines, Triple Play Dog Sports, their owners, staff, contractors, and property owners harmless from any liability.
